Class 1’s trip to West Town Farm – young reporters of a school farm visit
On Tuesday the 28th of April, Year 1 went to West Town Farm.
They all had a fabulous time making flat bread and using clay to make models of what they saw that day (they all got super mucky!)
The children were all having fun digging for pottery and other things too.
They watched Nana feed the baby lambs, there where two females and there was one male, and their mum died soon after they were born.
Then Class 1 got to feed the pigs, they were being very greedy.
They found out what happened to a mother cow trying to get her calf back because it escaped and at the end of the day they got to eat their bread and have some fresh apple juice.
