In the cold of December a group of students from Exeter University rehearsed and performed in a found space at the top of West Town field. ‘Cock’ by Mike Bartlett took place in a sheep pen. The audience stood around the wattles looking in on an intense story of relationships.
‘But that’s what this is, isn’t it? The ultimate bitch fight.’ When John takes a break from his boyfriend, he accidentally meets the girl of his dreams. Filled with guilt and indecision, he decides there is only one way to straighten this out…
We are really pleased to support the use of the farm’s spaces for creative activity. Thank you to Alice Wordsworth for seeking us out!
I am emailing to enquire with a rather strange request. I am in my third year studying Drama at University of Exeter and for our module we have to hold a performance outside university grounds. My performance needs to be set in a pen like enclosure and your farm looks like it could be the perfect setting for this play.
Wonder who will be coming next!
