Check our farm resources for learning!
organicARTS and West Town Farm have been creating farm based learning experiences for over 10 years now. Although we run visits over the whole year early Spring is when the enquiries start arriving after a seasonal break. We have a college, several primary schools, a university, nursery, housing association, arts group and more all looking to come to the farm over the next few weeks to explore and learn. There is a lot about food and the environment but we also have Greek Pottery, the role of the farm in Health and Social Care and fire lighting appearing in the mix. Great fun!
A few years ago we worked with the farm on creating farm resources for learning to support educational visits. There is a trail of information boards around the farm and a virtual trail supported by images, videos and activities.
