The Summer barn Dance is almost upon us!

As we pull together our stories, head to Exeter Brewery for the beer and Sandford Orchards for the cider … while the Community Garden Project prepares for some epic cake-baking, we’re looking forward to celebrating the summer in true organicARTS style. We’ve been asking the team what they look forward to most about the annual Summer Barn Dance …

“It’s the energy – the sense of community, the laughter. It’s such a buzz, isn’t it? I think a Barn Dance surprises everyone who thinks it’s not their cup of tea.” Philiy-in-the-office

“It’s the band’s favourite gig ever … because it’s such a wonderful, joyous community.” Christine-in-the-band

“I like the energy of it – the sheer, roof-lifting energy and positivity! And there’s lots of room for people who don’t like going in the melee, to stand to one side and enjoy it.” Sarah-behind-the-bar

“It’s the multi-generational dancing. And creating beautiful head-dresses from the garden, to dance with.” Jo-by-the-fire

""

And whilst you picnic to the backdrop of bleating lambs and setting sun, we’ll listen to the luscious sounds of Marc on the accordion…
