organicARTS <\/strong> is launching a crowdfunding campaign<\/strong> to raise funds to make an old farm building into a usable space for creative activities.<\/p>\n

The charity runs a range of outdoor activities for all ages and abilities, working with over 3000 people a year
\nbut… what happens when it rains?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The Challenge<\/h2>\n

Cold, wet weather can make it difficult for visiting groups and individuals. Having a dry, warm, indoor creative space will allow people to stay longer and to learn new skills in a well equipped space without struggling to do things in wet raincoats with cold fingers. Our staff and visitors will benefit from a dedicated space focusing on using natural materials from the farm e.g. wool for spinning, weaving and felting.<\/p>\n

Campaign Launch Party<\/h2>\n

There is a Launch Party on Monday 27th August from 2-4 pm in the organicARTS Community Garden at West Town Farm. Come and sample some creative activities and enjoy a cup of tea and homemade cake.<\/p>\n

The Crowdfunding Campaign is running from 2pm Monday 27th August to Monday 24th September<\/p>\n

There are many wonderful rewards so not only will you be helping others but you could also learn new skills and meet new people in the process.All these rewards have been given for free by our wonderful staff, trustees and Friends. The Target<\/h2>\n

We need to raise \u00a36000<\/strong> so If 300 people donate \u00a320 each we can reach our target. That would put a smile on a lot of faces : )<\/p>\n
