DESCRIPTION:Join our Head Gardener\, Julie\, and nimble crafter\, Lucy\, at this interactive\, practical workshop learning all about the wonderful\, versatile Willow. \n\n\n\n\nLearn how to harvest\, propogate and maintain it and have a go at harvesting yourself;\n\n\n\nLearn simple weaving techniques and learn to make a small woven tray or living willow garden structure;\n\n\n\nCake\, tea and coffee included. A small DIY cafe will be serving a simple lunch option\, tea and cakes.\n\n\n\n\nWhat you will need to bringWear warm outdoor clothes and bring robust gloves. All other equipment will be provided. \n\n\n\nWillow Day & Imbolc CelebrationsThis workshop is part of our Willow Day.  \n\n\n\nIn the afternoon we will be holding a bigger family event celebrating Imbolc\, with children enjoying various spring and willow related activities. \n\n\n\nAt 5pm we encourage everyone to come join us at Ide Community Orchard for their Wassail Event. \n\n\n\nTicketsThis is an adult event. DESCRIPTION:Make your own seasonal wreath with greenery foraged from our farm. \n\n\n\nJoin us for a relaxing afternoon at West Town Farm foraging and making wreaths for the festive season with organicARTS artists Lucy and Christine. We will be making the base from willow grown on the farm and will collect other foraged materials from the hedgerows. \n\n\n\nAll materials are provided\, although please do bring any additions you are keen to add (ie favourite ribbons or natural materials).
