Great family event!!

Heavy rain at an Open Day! Why are we smiling? Because the soil needs it!!
Open Farm Sunday is on Sunday 12th June and starts at 11. Entry is free! Bring your wellies.

A lovely visit from a group from Ethiopia! They were part of an exchange with a similar group from Exeter exploring active citizenship. We had a very happy walk around the farm comparing farms in Devon with those in Ethiopia, discovering the significance of the coffee ritual and having demonstrations of cattle herders calls across the hills. Not what the cows made of that!! I hope to get some pictures of the visit here soon.

The new chariot is out on the farm. We have had the first of the pilot project groups out today. Sharney could carry out a leaf identification challenge at the top of a steep and bumpy field impossible to access with her wheelchair. Great!

It was early one morning when the cows needed to be moved from The Barton to West Town Farm along the lanes!
