A short project aimed at people with lived experience of mental health problems, as an aid to their recovery.
We know that outdoor activity can improve your well-being and we know that creative activities can improve your well-being. We’re going to combine the two!
3 Tuesday afternoons with organicARTS at West Town Farm going for a short
walk, collecting material and inspiration and using these to make artefacts. The materials used will be those that can be provided by the farm (e.g. clay, wool, charcoal, willow) but the choice will be up to you (with guidance if required).
13th, 27th June and 11th July leaving Exeter at 1pm and returning by 5pm (minibus provided). We would expect people to commit to all three dates for continuity.
Each person will be given or make a workbook, these and/or a collaborative book will be exhibited as part of Devon Open Studios. This project is partly a research project so your honest feedback will be appreciated.
